WPPRA Port Moresby Put Billboard on 19 Ha West Papua Land


The West Papua Refugee Relief Association (WPRRA) today, 25 January 2020 put a “billboard” sign saying

19 Hectares of Land Mass
Remains the Property of
West Papua Refugee Relief Association
NO Trespassing!

This mark symbolizes the declaration of West Papua Land which was dedicated officially by the Papua New Guinean Prime Minister at the time Peter O’Neill, MP and the National Capital District (NCD) Governor, Powes Parkop MP.

The chair of the WPRRA, Mr. Elimar Gombo thanked the Prime Minister Hon. Peter O’Neill, MP and current Prime Minister Hon. James Marape, MP for their support for West Papuan refugees in Papua New Guinea. The NCD officers and community leaders also gave speeches and declared support for the step taken by the “West Papua Refugee Relief Association (WPPRA)” to invite all West Papuans into the area to build their houses, to manage the land, and to live while fighting for the independence of West Papua.

Another West Papuan leader and musician, Fred Mambrassar also stated he himself will join and move into the area and build his own house and his office to run his campaigns to free West Papua.
